Every time he opens his mouth, it is that much clearer than he doesn’t get it and will never get it. He seems truly unable to understand that the entire world doesn’t revolve around him and what he wants in the moment.

The longer this goes on, the more sympathy I have for Gisele, which is saying a lot because I really don’t care for her. I suspect it has been a very lonely marriage for her.

Because if your husband isn’t doing his share of the work in the marriage, you end up doing it. If you’re in a situation where both spouses are making themselves the priority instead of their partnership/family, then there’s no reason to stay married.
