Many of you are ignorant of what happened/is known.
+1 The whole presser is here:

Nevertheless, does anyone really doubt that had the kid left with his parents after that meeting, he wouldn't have just come back later with his gun and shot up the place anyway? I mean, Adam Lanza wasn't a student at Sandy Hook anymore. And wasn't the shooter in Parkland also suspended or a former student?
Not if he had been admitted to a mental hospital, for being a danger to himself and others.
that's really not so straight forward as it may seem

Which is why I said the school can't absolve themselves of responsibility by saying that they left the power of how to handle the situation in the hands of the kid's parents.
(For example, blaming the parents for not inspecting the kid's backpack before he went back into the school. After the school knew that he had searched for ammunition online and drawn a picture of a gun, "blood everywhere" and him not being able to stop his thoughts. )
What? They left AFTER their kid was charged with murder. Not before.
PP is talking about when the parents left the school after the meeting the morning of the shooting.

Since they were big gun advocates, it doesn't sound like they would cooperate with anyone. Michigan is full of anti government types.

Have you tried to enter a school building lately? I doubt the receptionist would have buzzed them in, and forcing their way in would have given security time as well as more time for police to respond
