Considering that my daughter plays for a GA club and I've never seen a GA hat. I'm going to call this a lie.

They exist for sure, GA Bucket hats have existed for at least 3 years (they are actually pretty sharp)

Doesn't matter the "bonnets" is ridiculously dumb.
ECNL hats actually exist and you see parents wearing them at events. So pathetic.
They need something to counter the hats put-down. The problem is parents don't wear the gear, really. The kids do, though (not bonnets, of course). Mostly hoodies that look cool.
Yes its normal to wear gear from the club that your kid plays on.
Its weird to wear the gear of the league your kid plays in.
Have you ever seen someone wear a NFL hat? How about a NWSL hat? This is the issue its also why the ECNL hat burn stings so much. You have to remember that 90% of the ECNL teams are the same as GA team. If they wore something showing which ECNL club their kid played on often people would laugh at them. So its better to hide behind the anonymity of an ECNL hat.
I’ve seen people wear the WNBA symbol sweatshirts and hats.

I didn’t even know this club existed………
