Again, Gonzaga may have top players in the area at key positions—goalie, attack, LSM, SSDM and some good young poles too. Hopefully there is a season and this opinion will be validated.
“Among” the top maybe more appropriate. Curious where people think this one shakes out. And please do not trash individual kids ie “that kid is overrated and not really that good”. Use this as a positive “kid is really good” platform. Best players at each position in area:
Goalie: Landon, SJC ‘23
Defense: SJC x 2
Mid: Bullis stands out above rest
SSDM: SJC stands out above rest
Attack: Gonzaga, SSSA
LSM: Gonzaga, Prep ‘23
Faceoff: Prep stands out above rest

SSDM for SJC does not stand out above GZ—SJC SSDM going to Syracuse, GZ SSDM going to UNC. Coach Breschi and his staff’s call on this one maybe carries a little more weight than your opinion.
Uncle?
Not sure of the logic behind one going to UNC makes him better than another going to Cuse. The SJC SSDM is considered by many to be at or near the top in the class in the country. It’s not a knock on anyone else, nor thinking one knows more than an accomplished college coach.

Anonymous wrote:Any speculation on how the freshman shakeout in the WCAC or IAC as contributors based on summer or fall performances? Again, only looking for the positive and not bashing.
