Well they arent wrong right now. Is travel so important that you would risk your health and others as well?
I don’t understand why folks who are so easily triggered by opposing opinions intentionally subject themselves.
-If you don’t want to travel (now or ever), then don’t visit the Travel forum....because—surprise, surprise—people want to discuss topics related to travel.
-If you don’t like to discuss diets/exercise, then don’t visit the Diet and Exercise form.
-If you don’t want to debate politics, then don’t visit the Politics forum.
Stay in your lane and stop spreading your personal misery to everyone else. Or, continue to post and prepare yourself for contrarian points of view. It’s not that difficult....

DP. They aren’t wrong, but they’re annoying. No one has forgotten about the pandemic. You disagree with their priorities and choices, we know, but you don’t need to post “it’s a pandemic, stay home” on every post. Maybe instead just try to stay out of the travel forums?

NP nope. They need the reminder if they’re looking to travel right now. Maybe instead they should notice folks dying and ctfo on the plans.

Yes I was so nervous and scared last year after reading the college board for a year. My kid is completely average and was admitted to all of the places he applied. It was really no big deal. DCUM is a weird place full of 350k HHI, 1400 SAT/4.2 GPAs.
Please define average. Unweighted GPA? Test scores?
My sense is dcum parents define average as APs, great grades and test scores, unique extracurriculars, etc.—just not ivy level.
I want to know where a 3.4 kid with no APs and crummy test scores because they suck at math ends up. DCUM says community college.
The bolded is my kid and based on DCUM, and I was afraid he wouldn't get admitted anywhere. That's average by DCUM standards.

And even better, then runs to the website forum to ask Jeff if it's a "troll".
