Yeah right. This is what I mean by SYC trash. All the guest players to win state cup and MLS Next games, marketing those wins and pretending they are true SYC wins is fraud, but you are right, may not break any rules. Congratulations. Keep up the good work with the next gen, and when they don’t get you what you want, rent some other players.
Look at the director's MLS Next team. Shutout in 8 games.

It's gone from an ordinary, mediocre program that was initially rejected by CCL to some highly competitive teams and MLS Next membership. I don't know any inside details on the club, but in an endeavor where everyone is trying to win when someone starts to win a lot more - it catches your attention.

Let me simplify it since you obviously are simple minded.
The 2012 play up so they can pull one or two guest players from the 2011 to play. Is it wrong no. But is it a cheap move, I think so. Then again Samba boyz are cheap and dirty so they do anything to win. Oh wait you must one of the parents!

So what you are saying is that they play as a 2012 team playing up, while at the same time rostering 2011 boy(s) on that very same team. Oh man, very misleading indeed. Anything to win I suppose.
I don’t see anything ‘cheap’ about it. Your kid must be on one of the 2011 teams that was embarrassed to be playing a largely 2012 team and losing? Sour grapes it seems…
I am not sure I get your point. The 2012 team plays in a 2011 division--and they have one 2011 player joining them (a goalie). What is misleading about that? Its not like they are playing in a 2012 division and bringing the 2011 goalie 'down' to play for them. Now that would be misleading and against the rules.
But quite frankly they could have eleven 2011 players on the field/ They only have 1 because the rest of the team is good enough to play against other teams' 2011 players and they would wipe away the competition in the 2012 bracket so they play up. duh. nothing to see here...

Wait the Samba Boyz are a third tier team at SYC?
Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Previous poster was being sarcastic. They are top team in 2012 academy. Looks like they played in 2011 bracket and won. No surprise.
