this to stick to kavanaugh.
She’ll (Harris) never recover. She’ll end up having to call Biden and warren racists to get back into the hunt.
Kavanaugh is effectively untouchable because the smear campaign has failed so miserably.
You keep saying “smear campaign” as though it means it was all made up.
If he didn’t like being smeared, he shouldn’t be a walking poop monster.
We know you guys don’t believe women. It doesn’t suit your narrative. He wants, he gets.
So because we’re pointing out the glaring flaws in this smear job, we “don’t like women”? Umm, ok. According to people like you, all women are to be believed all of the time. Sorry, that’s not how real life works.

I bet Mark Judge, slimy Republican and Kavanaugh!s best buddy as well as the witness Blasey Ford named, could tell you.
Too bad the White House wouldn’t let the FBI interview him. So we don’t know.

I trust this woman’s word, a former prosecutor, over all the gop yahoos on here absolutely beside themselves with glee that the victim can’t remember. That doesn’t make it any less a crime.
“A crime”??? First of all, the person in question can’t even remember the alleged incident happening. Secondly - a CRIME?? Good grief, you people are bizarre.

In my more charitable moments, I try to understand what could have caused such a complete lack of empathy for other people. Either they were born that way, they learned it from what were probably miserable childhoods, or they are jealous of women who dare to stand up against abuse. I feel like I need to burn sage before reading this forum anymore.

Nope, she does not.
This is straight libel.
If I faced being hounded by a pack of insane right wing gun nuts and threatened by people in the highest levels of the Government, I wouldn’t ‘remember’ either. You know as well as I do that this is what would happen if this woman came forward. You people will go to any lengths to protect a lawless President, but you’re more than happy to destroy someone who just wants to tell the truth.
OMG, you are nuts. You simply won’t stop with your conspiracy theories, will you? She DOESN’T remember, period. She didn’t remember to begin with, and in fact had to spend a week consulting with friends and lawyers to determine if anything might have happened that she could claim. You people are completely crazy.

I've been trying to figure this out. DH and I have had some laughs over it. But, you have come up with the absolute best visual. I'll never unsee an elephant trunk.
Absurd.

Do any of you want to be judged by some random indiscretion from your high school or college days? I feel like I was a completely different person back then.
Because since then he's been exemplary and everyone recognizes that.
If the college thing doesn't work, Dems are ready to go back to high school.
Wait, they did that.
Next is going back to elementary school and to prove that he ate too many candy -- the precursor to beer.
So exemplary that he lied under oath.

The NYT has updated the piece tonight to say that the earlier version omitted something from the book. That "something" was that the female student who was the alleged victim declined to be interviewed and friends say she does not recall the incident.
In other words, she doesn’t want her life to be ruined by relentless harpies like you people. I can’t blame her.
Really. Show us an example of a ruined life? All the liars thus far have lived their lives just fine. Making up things and coming forward hasn’t hurt anybody except the accused.
That’s ok. The ruined lives along the way are all fine. Means justifies the end to the liberal mind. A mind that manages to lie itself in some weird loop. Liberalism is a mental disease devoid of logic and facts. This board shows that in spades.
Do you know how many times Christie Blasey Ford had to move because of death threats from crazed right wingers? The Republican smear machine is a terrible thing.
Ever the victim. Tell us. How many times has she had to move? You have any kind of reliable info on how many times she's had to move or how many "death threats" she's received. My guess is that these reports are somewhere between grossly exaggerated and flat out lies. She's too traumatized to fly. She needs to get a second front door added to put her mind at ease in case Brett and Marc Judge try to rape her again.
She's a partisan political liberal hack, who works/ed at an ultra left wing university who tried to derail a confirmation with a BS story when it became apparent that her party had failed to do so through conventional means. Depending on your political allegiance this may make her a hero but she's no victim.
Amen. Her attorney even admitted that her allegations were politically motivated.
Yep. It was all about Roe vs. Wade.
And, Mitch McConnell delivered a statement about this whole ridiculous story and media frenzy today. He reminded me of something that had slipped my mind - how some Democrats wrote a brief to SCOTUS essentially saying, "We don't like how you are ruling. Do what we like, or we will make changes to the Supreme Court."

Republicans respondes with a letter, signed by ALL 53 Senators, pledging not to allow the Democrats to pack the court.

Democrats are working on a losing strategy here.
you say it's all about roe as if that isn't a legitimate concern
the penis in face stuff is bad. the lack of an investigation is bad. but the point is that collins promised her constituents she'd protect roe - and didn't. you think there shouldn't be consequences for that?
Point of correction: the friends pushed Kavanaugh’s penis into Jane Doe’s hand, not her face.
Someone’s ex-boyfriend told my old bunk mate from summer camp and she mentioned it to a well placed Washington lobbyist who had his PA call the FBI about it.

Everyone who "just wants to tell the truth" had years and years and years and years to do so. Wouldn't it have been much easier long ago, when Kavanaugh was not a SCOTUS nominee, to come forward? Then the "insane right wing gun nuts" wouldn't have been an issue. They only want to "tell the truth" now, when it serves their (or others) political interests. If he was never nominated, these people would have been perfectly fine lettting him "get away" with all of this terrible behavior.
Pathetic.
The Washington Post has revealed it passed on a questionable story about Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh back in 2018 because it "could not independently corroborate the allegation" and key figures didn't cooperate. The story, about a sexual assault allegedly committed by Kavanaugh during the 1983-84 school year at Yale, was published Saturday by The New York Times, which was forced to issue a correction to the article the next day.
“The Washington Post last year confirmed that two intermediaries had relayed such a claim to lawmakers and the FBI. The Post did not publish a story in part because the intermediaries declined to identify the alleged witness and because the woman who was said to be involved declined to comment,” the Post reported on Sunday night.
Anonymous wrote:No surprise. The offensive tweet that the NYTimes was forced to delete on Sunday was written by one of the authors of the book coming out tomorrow - Robin Pogrebin.
According to a Times insider familiar with the matter, Pogrebin wrote the offensive tweet, which should have been vetted before it was posted.
“It was really neglectful,” the insider said of the paper’s overall handling. “There were serious errors made along the way.”

This is a pretty damning assessment of the NYTimes and their botched story.
Will anyone be held accountable? Doubtful.

But, I think you keep hammering him with this shit until the day he dies so that the press starts to treat anyone like him the way they treated Hillary Clinton. Working the refs is effective in the long term.
And also to show Dems who might decide to stay home for another vote, that there's a lot at stake - and they need to vote D to stop this from happening again
You sure are doing your damndest at getting people, even reluctant voters, to vote for Trump again.
Reasonable people want to have nothing to do with the people who make it a game to destroy a man's name and reputation for sport. You all are sick.
