Forget about this boundary issue. City has no control over this and that may or may not happen.
City has full control over not allowing more apartments when school is already 120%. That's the current policy. There is no good reason to increase it.
Everyone should simply rally around and testify. If you are concern then testify. If council members vote for increasing the limit then simply vote against them in the next election.
Development at any cost shouldn't be allowed. Kids education is too high a price to pay for extra apartments.
Sure there is. People need a place to live.

Nah, you didn't get this discussion. RM is already overcrowded. Everyone knows that.
Discussion is about City trying to make the situation even worse by lifting moratorium for new buildings.

Most of RP can walk to the school, or is just across Falls in Horizon Hill. Stop throwing out completely useless suggestions that are not grounded in any reality. Do you even know where Gaithersburg HS is? It's way up 270. Come on.
Gaithersburg HS is hardly "way up 270". It's quite near to the northern part of Ritchie Park ES zone. In fact, that area is closer to Gaithersburg HS than its neighboring area zoned for Rosemont ES.
I think you have the wrong school in mind...you are not describing Ritchie Park.
Gaithersburg HS is not even on this map. The northern part of RP boundary is closer to Wootton than anyone living in Travilah, DuFief, or Stone Mill lives to Wootton.
