She may be a unicorn but she has a bunch of friends in their 50s who are very attractive. If a woman stays fit and didn’t fry themselves in the sun when young they can look great.

I went to my 30th HS reunion back in May and the hotties back then, who looked older in HS, had not aged well. But many of the young looking ones from back then looked great.

Agree with above posters: women need to use sun screen every day since age 16, rain or sun. When I met my now exH I was 25 and he was 35, not that much older. But I looked 16, and he was always asked if I was his daughter.
I was super thin in my 20s maybe even too bony. But in my 40s I added a few pounds and finally got my best feminine body while remaining thin. And yes I have long dark hair (not grey).

I’m a woman in my 40s. Men shared with me their terrible experiences with much younger women. From her wanting to give him a BJ in a bathroom on first date (or to his friend, doesn’t matter), to making them feel like a walking sperm bank.
My own problem is super high selectiveness as I had negative experience in prior relationships and tend to overthink and overprotect myself in a new relationship.

I am 45 years and been divorced 3 years. I started dating again about 1 year ago and I went on dates with women from late 20s to mid 50s. Women in late 20s were the absolute worst. Clearly they were after what I had achieved, we had nothing really to talk about and they were not that more attractive to the women in their 40s. Having a youthfully face and perky boobs does not make you more attractive compared to say a woman in her 40s with an hourglass and who takes great care of her skin etc. my only issue with women in their 40s is that they didn't want me because I had kids and I think some wanted to go younger (which seems to be the new thing these days with some women but hey good for them and to be honest of sex is important to them I can't compete with a 28 years old lol but that's just me). Women in their 50s were the best fit, less drama, they have their own money, we have things to talk about and put bodies are similar or we are both showing signs of aging.

Well I want to have sex with Hugh Jackman but that has absolutely zero relevance to what the average 50 year old man can reasonably be expected to look like.

I am the 60-year-old poster, and given a choice of my 50-year-old wife and a younger version of my wife at 24-year-old, it is a very easy choice. I would have sex with my 50-year-old wife because of the connections we had over the past 26 years, but definitely NOT with another 50-year-old woman that I hardly know. Sagging boobs and butt on someone who is in their 50s that I hardly know is not very attractive. Not to say that I am any better at the age of sixty. You get the point.

You both have a point. Historically though younger women tended to have less hang up on dating and even marrying much older men. Of course these women may very well have their own motives. Having said a woman in her 50s doesn’t need to compete with a 20/30 years old woman that’s just weird. Similarly for men as well. I don’t know why some older men and women have this weird obsession with being go attract younger people. It’s just weird.
