One time my wife and I got back from a late date night, we were a little tipsy and after letting the babysitter leave, my wife decided that she wanted to go swimming. Well the problem here is that we don't have a pool, nor does our neighborhood. The only option that came to mind was to go to the pool owned by a different HOA down the road. We put on our swimsuits and drove there. Mind you we left our 4 children at home asleep by themselves, but we have cameras in their rooms and all over the house, so we felt like we could keep an eye on things enough to be comfortable. It was only a 2 minute drive away. We pulled up to the pool and notice it's after hours. The pool is closed, locked,dark, and there was a VERY stern warning on the gate about trespassers being prosecuted. Not wanted to disappoint my wife I hopped the side fence and went over to open the gate from the inside and let her in. I DID notice that there was a motion sensor inside the gate, but it was drunk enough to assume no one would watch that. Well we had been in the pool for a little bit when all of a sudden a citizens on patrol car pulls up to the pool. Oh crap. We stayed in the shadows as we got out of the pool. They were shining a flashlight through the fence from their car but couldn't see us. We hunkered behind a hedge just planning for them to drive away. Well they didn't...and then a police car showed up! Oh shit. I then decided I had to take action, so I told my wife to stay put, and I went back around to the side fence that I hopped in from and hopped back out (out of sight). Then I just nonchalantly walked around to the front of the pool as if I was oblivious to the police car until he called out to me. I turn around and visited with him calmly. Told him that "the ex" had the kids this weekend (I don't have an EX) and I was bummed about it and was hoping to go for a swim, but when I saw the locked gate, I just went for a short walk in the neighborhood. He didn't seem to totally buy it at first, but as his round about questions kept getting the same answer, I asked him if he needed my ID or anything. He said yes. Upon looking at it he noticed my address was in a different neighborhood. He asked me about that, and I replied that I had to move to this cheaper neighborhood because of the economy and hadn't updated my drivers license yet. He snickered and then sent me on my way. I got away!!...without my wife!!! So I drove up to the front of the neighborhood and parked in the shadows until the cop car left (probably 10-15 minutes but it felt like 2 hours), and then I whipped around and pulled up to the front of the pool again. My wife FLEW out of the gate (triggering the motion sensor again) hopped in the car and we peeled out of there like a couple of robbers. She punched me really hard in the shoulder for leaving her there at all (clearly she was scared to death, but I told her to trust me because I had a plan) but at least we got away!! wow, that was a huge rush and a scary night. After that we just returned home and went to bed. What a night!! Trespassing, lying to a cop, speeding, and left the kids at home. It was just a night that could have gone SO WRONG, but we totally got away with it.

Something he never would have done otherwise, but she was all crying and hurt. Shortly after that EVERYONE but me fell asleep for a quick drunk nap, and when everyone woke up, things we normal. That day was never mentioned again, and I don't know how much anyone else remembers, but all the trouble in the middle was started by me and a suggestion I made. Since then, that other guy and I have gotten really sideways with each other for unrelated business reasons, and I have really thought about sending that video to his wife, just to make his life more difficult.
