No, but it is true that a 6th grade cross country runner was hit by a driver on Pilgrim road. The boy is now fine after a few stiches and some cuts and scrapes. The main reason this happened was due to the lack of sidewalk as they are remodeling the fields.

It was reportedly more of a case of driving while blonde. It occurred in an area where the sidewalks were not affected by the construction. The injuries were also more severe than you write, but yes, the boy will be fine.

Good young coach from an MIAA school in Baltimore area with strong coaching club background. People seem excited. Prior coach was very active in the hiring process.

Happy about it. They reconfigured the footprint so there will be more fields -- easier for more teams to practice at once, and turf fields for bad weather practices. The old track also wasn't regulation so they couldn't have home track events. Day to day it will be a meaningful improvement -- it's not just cosmetic.

For upper school (high school) it is -- not sure about the Lower School. For Upper School the students must be clean shaven but hair can be any length.

You don't need that many ties. There's no school tie, although in the Upper School boys in the chorale buy a standard tie (yellow with the crest?).

One tip: the Student Exchange is AWESOME for getting really inexpensive items like ties and blazers. It's run by parents and it's a great way to give away clothes or get clothes inexpensively for the school dress code.

Good luck to your family!

I would just ebay a "lot" if you are worried about cost. I would say somewhere between 5 - 7.
