I’m 59 and doing fine with a 14-year old. It’s different when you haven’t done it before, I think. I’m just so grateful to have the experience. Like a PP, I “did it all” in my 30s, so I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything. We can just pick the best experiences to re-do with DC.

I was 46 when I gave birth to twins! Had a healthy pregnancy, and all is well. Yes, I am tired, but so are 30 year olds. Women much younger that I were on bed rest. I worked the entire time and had the twins at 38.5 weeks. Oh, and I am a single Mom too. So, don't mind what some of the posters say, do what you think is best.
How are you and the kids now? I feel like folks underestimate how draining kids can be as tweens/teens.
