"...stated he has mental anguish and we provided him and his family resources last night for treatment."
The people piling on Janeese there have no credibility.

If JLG is working on the problem indirectly, she should be explaining the steps she is taking either in her monthly newsletter, coming to ANC meetings or responding directly to residents. JLG is responding now but not in a way that I feel is helpful (other may disagree). And, if she can't solve the problem, she needs to explain in detail what is preventing her and the council as well as explaining what steps she and the council are planning to take.
UP until now, many residents feel LG hasn't provided the level of support or engagement to fixing the problem of DC funded slum lords controlling apartment buildings that are crime hot zones.
While some Ward 4 residents support JLG and her feel she has been a great councilwomen, this view is by no means universal. I encourage voters to dig a little deeper into JLG track record at addressing Ward 4 concerns to see if her approach and her priorities align with their concerns.
It's the same group of people, I recognize the names. They did this with the snow clearing too. As if the councilmember was going to somehow direct the mayor in how to clear the streets. But the level of vitriol is exactly the same.
I think they're operating in this bubble where they think they're winning something, but the more they rant, the less credible they are.
I live in Ward 4 and wish I could get a link to this group.
Why? Not enough drama here?
If you are seeking drama, that's on you. I am an actual constituent who would like to have access to my councilmember.
