No one is saying that! But their role has been exaggerated in specific ways by the current administration for political purposes. For example, despite the claim that they are a "national security threat" to the US US intelligence memos indicate the gang is made up of small, decentralized cells and focus on "low-skill criminal activities."

It's also not true that Maduro "sent" TdA to "invade" the US. U.S. intelligence agencies largely agree there is no evidence the Maduro regime has a policy of cooperating with TdA or is directing its operations in the U.S..

It's possible we've suffered more than 25%. Trump may die any day. The Democrats may continue to make Electoral gains and Trump won't have his supermajority.

Of course it's also possible the midterms don't go as well as we hope and the USA as we know it is over.

Keep thinking it can’t get worse and then there’s some fresh insanity. And while it seems “likely” the GOP won’t do well in the midterms, it’s not at all clear that it will make much difference. Trump is not interested in governing and just lets Miller and Hegseth do whatever. Trump thinks a legacy is having your name plastered on buildings.

He has to know these are going to come off when he's gone, right? And that we'll revert back to Gulf of Mexico and Dept. of Defense, as well.
