Every single gaffe from now until November is going to be highlighted and they're all going to go viral. After that disastrous debate, Biden's cognitive decline IS the only story. Trump might as well play golf for the next four months.
Democrats need to deal with this straight up. Watching Schumer and AOC and others declare that all is well and it's settled and they're standing with Joe was nonsense. Democrats are going to lose the White House, the Senate, and the House unless they deal with reality right now. The President and Democratic nominee, who would be 86 in a second term, is unfit for the Oval Office. And Democrats need to develop a spine now and change course if they want to avoid disaster.

He bought himself more time, which probably is upsetting to a lot of Ds who think he is the weakest candidate vs. Trump and want to get this over.
The Ds are in a real jam.
They will be in an even bigger jam if they expect to oust Biden without having a strong and coherent plan that delivers a win - and that win needs to be two pronged - the White House in order to deal with SCOTUS, and that win needs to be control of Congress, likewise to deal with SCOTUS by codifying the things they are trying to overturn, or to impeach and remove Trump if the Dems don't take the White House. If they don't have such a strong and well thought out plan, there will be hell to pay - from pissed off fellow Democrats who watched them knife Biden in the back. I won't be forgiving to Dems if Dems lose all over whatever scheme it is they are planning.
I won't forgive them if they carelessly give this election away to Trump and if Biden is the nominee, that will definitely be the case. This isn't fun and it isn't normal but Biden stepping away gives the Dems a chance of beating Trump in November. You're denying the obvious if you think otherwise.
The DNC convention is in a little over 1 month. The window for getting on ballots is just weeks away. The Dems have 2 weeks tops to come up with their miracle candidate. And it had better be a damn good one. Otherwise they can all just go to hell and I will never give another penny in donations, never go door knocking or phone banking, nothing. And from talking to friends and family I'm definitely not the only one who feels that way. So listen up, Dems. TICK TOCK. GET IT RIGHT.

Anonymous wrote:The conversations should be: Biden isn’t fit to run because of his diminished mental capacity. It seems like at least the Dems are having that discussion. Conversely, the GOP should be having the discussion that Trump is not fit to run because he’s a liar, criminal, fraudster, nut job. They won’t ever even start that discussion.

You are the problem. Too blindly partisan to acknowledge reality - that the entire world sees.
Did you watch and listen to tonight’s conference? Or are you too shallow to hear truth in his message. You were too busy anticipating a gotcha moment.
Seems like all they got out of an entire hour was a Trump / Kamala word slip (which is fairly typical for someone with a stutter). Sad.
Word slips aren't from a stutter.
You also didn't pay attention if you think not knowing the name of his own VP was the only word slips.
Don’t be disingenuous. Biden’s issues are not what you describe and you know it. He’s mentally impaired to a relatively significant degree and not capable of serving as president.
Exactly. The entire world knows it.
Trump’s mentally impaired to a relatively significant degree and not capable of serving as president. And the entire world knows it. He needs to drop out.
Deflecting isn't going to take the hear of Biden.
It's not funny anymore. He's so unwell.

Let's find out.
That sounds like a risky game to play.
Having Biden continue as the candidate isn't risky. It's doomed.
Time for another candidate. Is Ms Harris the best candidate? No, but she's the most straightforward candidate. So let's find out who will win, between her and Trump.
