Cornell CAS
Columbia

Hard worker but wants some campus life and sports. Not from NYC so won't have a friend group joining in any college.
Wants to eventually work/live in a city but does not mind non-urban setting for 4 years.

It sounds like your kid has the grades to get in regardless, but just to clarify, William and Mary is not direct admit to b school. You have to apply after freshman year.

Thank you. Cost wise Purdue OOS no merit, Mudd and NU w/merit close to UVA in state so no much different. UMD OOS no merit is high.
Then it's a choice between Mudd and NU.

PP here. +1 to that. Visit both for sure. Very different campus feels. I'd visit whatever else fits your budget. These are all great choices -- there's really not a bad choice on your list. But, I'd have Mudd and NU at the top.

I’m not sure what your student is studying but for $ my DC would have loved to go to Lafayette. They also loved Bucknell and Lehigh but Lafayette was their favorite.


Yes, we loved Lafayette. Great facilities, beautiful campus. Bright, engaging AO. Mine was interested in engineering. Seemed like a great place.

Purdue OOS tuition isn’t much more than UVA in-state.
