Reminds me of the attack at the Capitol.
Stupid Canadian government for treating these people with kid gloves in Ottawa.
Notice how this thread got hotter when something jeopardized the rich American conglomerate?? Follow the money.

They can protest all they want, but blocking a road that is paid for by the taxpayers who would like to use it is going beyond protesting. They have no right to shut down public roads. End of story.
Even in Portland and other cities the protests where hyperlocal and only spanned a few blocks. Road blocked? No problem, hang a right, drive a few blocks, hang a left, and you've gone around it. And even then, the roads were typically only blocked for a few hours. These trucker protests are blocking major border crossings, are halting major highways, meaning in some cases a diversion of 20 or 50 miles, and it's already been going on for weeks. This needs to end.
Arrest them all. Put them in prison for a few years to think about what they did. The ones that don’t comply need to get shot. Examples have to be made.

Stage an insurrection, force the government to "act strong" and the victims are now martyrs. Or, in the alternative, a strong authoritarian rises in place of the existing.
Authoritarian playbook 101.

Give them 5 minutes warning to flee and then start shooting anyone stupid enough to still be there. A sovereign nation cannot allow people to dictate that the government submit to their whims. They need to bring the hammer down HARD. If this continues much longer people aren’t going to fear the institution of government. That’s anarchy.
People aren't going to FEAR the institution of government? Cause, they are supposed to be in prison for illegal parking?

Sure. You can find a random flag like that in a mass of people this large.
I have been watching and listening to journalists - mostly independent journalists. I have watched a lot of the video coverage.
I have seen no Confederate flags, no violence, and nothing related to QAnon... whatever that is.
These are men and women who want nothing more than to have their freedom. Much of the Canadian media and the Canadian government are trying mightily hard to paint these people as racist and white supremacists. It simply isn't true.
And, quite the irony that a man who has been pictured in black face more than once (Trudeau) has the audacity to call these people racist.
