Also, there has been some serious drama around Heidi and Dave lately. Apparently she made some video about their relationship being toxic, they broke up like four times, and a few days ago she posted a photo, he commented that she was beautiful…and her followers ate him alive. Apparently she had broken up with him and was no longer speaking with him. It was also mentioned he had not been in a good place lately.

However, since Brandon did not call Jen out by name, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt this time.

However I don’t see how legit the company could be if Brandon can become “executive VP” with virtually no experience. I imagine this work is heavily commissions based as well. That doesn’t seem secure to me and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him post about a sale.
While Brandon has not appeared to have any struggles with finances despite his spotty resume, it seems risky to put this added pressure of being dependent coworkers onto a new relationship.
Anonymous wrote:So were Dave and Heidi broken up or not? Because her post certainly doesn't sound like they were. And did he commit suicide or not? Because that seems to be wildly unclear. Agreed that Brandon's post was a clear clap-back at Jen.
Anonymous wrote:it probably also gives rachel hollis much pleasure that jen got stuck with the public/social-media platform of “just having an inattentive long distance boyfriend and a cheating ex husband who is happily remarried to a hot wife — kids are grown and gone” while rachel now has the goldmine platform of “death of her children’s father, her former business partner and best friend” and all the stories she will be able to monetize and the books/podcasts/posts she will get richer on as she publicly navigates their new family dynamic. think that’s harsh? it’s not…her publicist is already all over it, no doubt. sad the world we live in. jen and rachel are so alike.

I wouldn't imagine it's all (or at all) Rachel's choice since she's the ex-wife. I would guess Dave's parents and siblings if he has any will be making the arrangements. It would be weird to have an ex plan your funeral.

Quite the opposite actually. Dave’s death is the kind of thing that will cause Jen to stare the truth of mortality in the face again, including her own. And if it had been her heart that quit a week or two ago, then the last thing she put out into the world was that silly dildo video. And if it had been her death making headlines today and people who had never heard of her were suddenly looking up her name… That’s what they would be finding on her pages…”I didn’t recognize the name Jen Hatmaker, but I looked her up and it’s a middle-aged divorcee who podcasts about her sex life…some sort of blogger/influencer type…” This might be a reality check Jen needs to turn her time and attention and efforts back to things of eternal value. She did that once upon a time, whether it was genuine or not.
