I’ll bump this up in 6 months but UKR will have less controlled territory 6 months from now than at present. They’ll start to actively degrade their position.

Denmark has 43 F-16s (33 F-16A fighters and 10 two-seat B-model trainers).
19 Ukraine + 24 Argentina = 43.
And why is this a good deal for Denmark? Because they're getting F-35's. Dumba$$ can't do math.

After defending Ukraine, they will now defend Israel!

Russia circulated a draft resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza to the members of the UN Security Council on Friday, according to a copy of the draft obtained by Axios.
Why it matters: The resolution, if passed, would likely be vetoed, but the Russian move is expected to put pressure on the Biden administration and could push more countries to call for a ceasefire.
Several Western countries have so far refrained from calling for an outright ceasefire, insisting instead that Israel has a right to defend itself after last Saturday's Hamas attack.
Driving the news: A diplomatic source told Axios the Russians circulated the draft resolution and asked member states to give their comments about it by Saturday at noon.
The draft resolution expresses grave concern over the escalation in violence and the deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza and emphasizes that Israeli and Palestinian civilians must be protected.
The draft resolution calls "for an immediate, durable and fully respected humanitarian ceasefire."
The resolution "strongly condemns all violence and hostilities directed against civilians and all acts of terrorism" but doesn't mention Hamas and its attack against Israel.
The draft resolution also calls for the secure release of all hostages, the unimpeded provision and distribution of humanitarian assistance and for creating conditions for the safe evacuation of civilians in need.
That's genius. Israel will be sated pretty soon and will be ready to listen to calls for a cease fire. Not by Saturday but soon. And then everyone will congratulate Russia for being the first one to push for peace. Genius! Well played, Putin. You've still got some marbles left.

A year and a half of Ukraine/Russia fighting, but the page count on this thread has been overtaken by Israel/Hamas less than ONE WEEK after the fighting started there.
We put up a valiant effort, but it’s time to admit defeat.
😂
So many wine moms believed in Z and Vindman
Even z and vindman care more about Israel deep down!

Ukrainian Special Forces didn’t do this train explosion. Ukrainian partisans did it. They may have had special forces support in terms of planning, but there is an extensive partisan network across Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine, which carries out operations without the participation of official Ukrainian military forces. (And even deep within Russia.)
These partisan forces will never stop working against Russia, even if some kind of settlement was forced on Ukraine which allowed Russia to retain part of Ukraine.
And one reason these partisans are so effective is that many of them are actually ethnic Russian Ukrainians who speak perfect, fluent Russian, have family in Russia and can travel even within Russia, plus they obviously know the ground in Ukraine better than the invaders. Even Russian Ukrainian citizens are horrified by the Russian administration of the occupied territories and the Russian style of conduct of war there.
Also, the Melitopol operation is a very good indication of the way in which the Ukrainians are conducting the war, which Westerners aren’t paying attention to. Westerners think the way to win is through some kind of big break through at the front which rapidly covers territory like what happened around Kherson and Kharkiv. That costs a lot of Ukrainian blood. Instead, the Ukrainians are using long range weaponry and partisan attackers to destroy all logistics support for Russian forces in Ukraine - blowing up ammo dumps, petrol reserves, airfields & aircraft, etc.
In fact, they have been very successful, recently forcing the entire Russian Black Sea Fleet to withdraw from the port of Sevastopol, Crimea after Ukraine blew up the HQ for the Black Sea Fleet and a couple of ships in dry dock there.
Because this isn’t what the West wants to see, the West thinks Ukraine is losing. It hasn’t won ……yet, but it’s definitely not losing.
Now tell us how much you detest "Palestinian violence" in occupied territories and how it's not the same thing and completely different.

Republicans have already cut and run on the Ukraine. The republicans have been working and pressuring NATO members to do the same. This is over. There will only be funding for Israel not the Ukraine. The other NATO members will pull funding very quickly. Finland made a big mistake joining NATO. Russia will take it revenge on them soon and Europe will sit around and watch. Republicans will cheer.
