If we have an Italy-like protracted plateau, we will have 75,000 deaths in two week. horrid.

Another 2,000 deaths today. Trump lied again that we have passed the peak. He said we will be in the low end of 50 - 60k today. In reality we will get to 50k in a week.

Now do states with a stay at home order. Did they have increases? What were their percentage increases? Did any states have decreases?

Your data has no context and is meaningless without it.

This is a massive failure by Trump.

This thread was created one month ago.

As of April 19, 2020, 15:17 GMT, we have reached 740,928 cases and 39,084 deaths. By the end of today we will pass 40,000 deaths.

Yesterday, April 17, we added 32,165 new cases and 2535 new deaths. We only tested 140K which is below the April average. We are seeing a plateauing of new cases as a function of the limited testing. Both the number of deaths and cases are staying at the peak for a week. This is bad news. We need to see some downward movement.

This is useless as a political tool. Small businesses had to appliy hrough their local bank. It wasn't money just randomly sent out. If people didn't apply, guess who didn't get any money?

I personally know a large number of business owners in DC, MD and NY who didn't receive a penny, despite applying the first day with full documentation. They now have to pay off, collectively, hundreds of people they wanted to keep.

Isn't SALT deduction a tax cut for higher incomes?

Pathetic how people have no critical thinking skills and automatically go to politics

Did you read the Evercore analyst's theories (in the Bloomberg article) as to why this is? BTW...MN, HI and VT are not Red states.
