None of this is correct. One a 5 star recruit and #28 in his class and the other is a 4 star recruit --- like #130.

They are both class of 2019 -- i.e. Juniors this year.

They went to Paul Charter in DC for middle school and two privates for high school...still not seeing why the fuss about them going from private school to back to public...

District Heights is where BISHOP MCNAMARA is located....It was their high school at the time...just like VA kids go to Gonzaga... DC Kids go to Maryland Privates all the time...

For DC residents who live out of boundaries, perhaps. The chancellor can't waive residency rules for non-DC residents.

I think if they switched to tax returns for residency thousands of students would disappear. Duke Ellington is an outlier, but not alone. Similar to the graduation rate scandal -- it's right in front of us, and when they actually look, it wil be impossible to ignore.

Antwan changed the chancellor's discretionary placement to be much stricter (and then violated it himself). Not sure this is still an option for sport players.

This is exactly the kind of logic (well, excuse-making) that gets us to a 25% of Duke Ellington students being residency cheaters.

If it's that important, DCPS can write it into the residemcy rules and do it above board. I am just so over all the lying.

Try reading a little closer. They are JUNIORS right now. They enrolled at Wilson last month AFTER the basketball season ended. They will play as seniors at Wilson next year and THEN begin as freshmen at UMD in 2019.

They live IB for Wilson? If they live IB for Wilson - they were IB for Deal or Hardy for Middle. Paul was a better fit?
