Those were some very intriguing remarks.

One has to wonder why there’s so much effort at this time to discredit a candidate that didn’t win and a party that has no power.

It’s almost as if, a year later, they’re launching the game plan they would have run after she won.

But they didn’t have to, because Trump won. And Republicans control all three branches of government. And that government has PLENTY of issues that need to be addressed.

So why pull all this stuff out now?

I remember when Obama slipped on camera and said "my M*slim faith". Guess that makes him a M*slim....

not a lawyer but...that means he can't pardon the other conspirators, right?

It’s a bad idea. Terrible really. Worse than firing Mueller. Possibly obstruction of justice. But he probably could, technically. Because he hasn’t been convicted. It’s weird territory. For sure.

The big deal here is that it would mean that Meuller has found evidence sufficient to indict Trump on something, but he can’t while Trump is in office, because a sitting POTUS cannot be indicted. It is the big red arrow pointing at Trump saying “this guy committed this specific crime with these people, so it’s time to impeach him”. Nixon resigned about six weeks after it became public that he was an unindicted co-conspirator.

Who do you all follow on Twitter that has good intel (i.e., has actually been right about something in the past)?

A bunch of alt-Federal accounts. Which do a surprisingly good job of tapping into the Feds (the deep state in action, ladies and gentlemen. I said I’d bring bagels to the next deep state meeting right?). But this looks like pure, unadulterated, wouldn’t it be great if speculation. Hence the use of the word rumor. Although I think this also popped up on News and Guts today.

I do believe there's a dishonest effort to get Trump removed. It's pretty clear now. That's the really bad part if he IS removed. This is all pretty banana republic, from the media being in bed with the Dems, etc. We put Catalonia/Spain to shame!

Do you know anything about Spain and Catalonia? At all? It has nothing in common with modern American politics besides a bunch of people unhappy with the government. SMH.

Yes, I do. I know that Spanish government pointed the guns inward at the Catalonians. And there are those in office here doing the same.

PP is saying that Trump is pointing the gun at himself. He is his own worst enemy.

Snort - are you slow? No, I'm saying that when government starts pointing guns inward at its own people, we become a banana republic. And that's exactly what's going on here by globalist elitists. The America First agenda is a HUGE problem for them. By electing Hillary that was to be their final nail in America's coffin. However, the American people said "no thanks" and elected Trump. Keeps a smile on my face as I lie down to sleep each night.

Your analogy was dumb and nonsensical. I'm glad you sleep well. I hope it continues, in the coming days.

There is nothing I can do to change it. If America implodes, you all have to live in the sh*thole you created. I was in the Lenox Mall yesterday - my GOD, so MANY nasty people. One girl screaming racist at a woman who would not take the free crap she was trying to peddle. Armed guards everywhere, and thugs arguing with those guards. Ad nauseum. I have enough money to plant myself in a little paradise of my own and live quite quietly and nicely. Do you?

Mueller will never bring charges to democrat royalty (Clintons & Obamas). He wants to be in history books, he wants the best NY Times obit there is, so he's going to be a thorn in Trump's side by pressing the people around him. He'll get Trump to resign going after Kushner and/or Don Jr.

I believe this to be true. It's not about democratic royalty though. It's more about $$$

Or a grand juror leaked. Or Courthouse staff. Or a Judge. Or defense attorneys who were notified. Or a target, who was notified. The list of non DOJ folks who knew is lengthy.

And Mueller is ultimately responsible. I don't see much fury from him about those leaks publicly. Do you?

I've seen a tweet from someone about it. But if Mueller keeps a really tight ship, that means he wouldn't go complaining about leaks.

Funny. Mueller's been a Republican forever, but the way y'all disown Rs as RINOs when they're not Tea Party or Trumpers, I guess, means that doesn't count.

+1. Mueller was hired as special counsel, and every single member of the Senate, Dems and Republicans, went on record praising him as the best possible, most competent, fairest, most impartial choice. Paul Ryan and the House leadership said the same.

Everyone on both teams agreed on the referee. It sucks that you are down by 52 points with 90 seconds to play. But that’s what happens when you draft incompetent losers.

Blaming the Ref for your own istupid mistakes is going to get you nowhere.

The bolded? Raised eyebrows.

Senate leadership, too. Everyone has agreed that Mueller is impartial, the perfect choice.

Not everyone. And certainly not anymore, given what's been uncovered.

1. Name someone in the Senate or House Leadership who came out, week one against Mueller. We’ll wait here (for a long time). Please provide a link. Not Breitbart.

2. Tell us what has been uncovered about Mueller that has changed everyone’s mind. Again. Link your source. Not Breitbart. Or Fox News on this one.

1) Ted Cruz
2) Everyone's mind? Nothing changes everyone's mind about anything. Mueller's relationship with Comey, as well as the latest news that Mueller was in charge of the FBI during the Uranium deal.

You can go back and find links you like.

Ah, Ted "Mr. Shutdown" Cruz. Well, in that case, nope, still haven't changed my mind about Mueller's suitability.

They didn't say that Mueller is the leak. Or even that it's his staff. Remember there is a grand jury involved, empaneled by a federal judge. The prosecutor conducts the meetings, but the operation of the panel is by the court.
