And do you think the head of the Trump campaign was also a private citizen? I assume you are just trolling and not actually this clueless.
Also: it doesn't matter if you figure out what law was broken. You obviously have not run a political campaign or held a security clearance.

Why is that ok, but Don Jr and co traitors?

Trump Jr. is being transparent with his emails.
HRC bleachbit her emails
Comey still hasn't turned in his memos to congress.
Huge double standard here.
Notice the Libs don't have an answer.
Trump Jr. lied lied lied. Trump's admin is full of liars, with the biggest liar at the helm.
If HRC's team had done this, you Trumpsters would be all over it.
Steele was an ally; Russians aren't. You are all traitors.
Steele was the ally of his payday.
Steele is a foreign national.
1. Stele is not a foreign government
2. He did not give the oppo research away. He was paid for it
3. Even given 1&2, it was still slimy. Not as limy as a golden shower. But slimy.
Steele is a foreign national, just like this lawyer.
Oppo research is oppo research, and Trump jr said she had none.
Once again, you Trumpsters miss the point entirely. It's not about whether he got the info. It's about the fact that he met with her to see if he could get it.
A private citizen, who took no oath of office, took a meeting his dad didn't know about. Yup, he's guilty of being overzealous and who is to say what he would have done with the info. Are you a mind reader? Obama admin failed at protecting us from the Russian invasion. Failed. If it is illegal to meet with Russians, run your campaign on internment camps.
Wasn't Paul Manafort the head of the Trump campaign at the time?

Mueller's team knows that. They're working 24/7.
How do you know they're working 24/7?

He's still a private citizen, and what regulations were broken? Name them.

Good, they'll see nothing happened. DTJ is being smart.

Assange apparently advised junior to release his email.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on Tuesday claimed that Donald Trump Jr. releasing his own emails was the result of a conversation they had.
Assange said on Twitter that he contacted Trump Jr. to make the case that he should release the emails that led up to the president's oldest son meeting with a Russian lawyer, and that it should be done via WikiLeaks.
In a reply to one of his Twitter followers, Assange said he told Trump Jr. that his "enemies" had the documents and would "milk isolated phrases for weeks or months" that would have their own "context" or "spin."
It was better to be transparent, Assange said.
Assange is his lawyer now...
And BTW, Sr trump praised his son's transparency today through WH press briefing. You cannot make this up.
Anonymous wrote:Its deeply saddening to the extent trumpettes will go to defend their cult leader. First, there was no collusion. Now that the collusion proving email dripped out by the culprit's son himself, them claim the junior is private citizen. When trump sr himself will be proven to have colluded with russian to meddle in our election, they will have another creative excuse for sure.
Are these Americans who would excuse traitors to gloat a political win?
Didn't Comey let Hillary off over intent?
No.

Ignorance of the law is not a defense anyway.
NP here. It's no defense, that's for sure. But I do think it's possible that they didn't realize what a very serious crime they were committing. I'm sure they knew it was sketchy but maybe didn't know it was treason. This is why we need politicians in politics. We need people who have studied the law and government and have experience governing. Rs thought they were being so clever and edgy electing an outsider, but this family knows less about government than my 5th grader. You should have to take some sort of aptitude test to run for office.
