1) did the player score o ton of goals?

2) did the player have about a 60% save rate

Are these the only two factors that you look at when looking for a POY?

I am not criticizing and I’m not saying these players aren’t worth it and I’m not saying that these two factors aren’t important. Are there any other factors that would make a player stand out?

Indeed friend, this is a difficult task. It's just like any other age-old debate, like who's the GOAT, MJ or Lebron? There's a case for both. There are things like impact, strength of schedule, etc., things not so easily measured and make things complex. Suggest if you have time, when someone mentions one of these great athletes, see it for yourself. Between NFHS, IWLCA and IG there's enough content to see and judge for yourself. Each has their own unique talents and gifts. All are amazing athletes; we're all fortunate to watch and observe their artistry!

I think people would probably consider assists and maybe draw win%, but unfortunately lacrosse hasn’t really entered the world of advanced stats yet

At this point, I'd have to agree.

Madison parent so a one game sample size and the BF goalie was great on 8 meter shots, but based on that game I'd vote for whoever their #11 is.

She’s one of the sophomores. Has had 3 solid games including game winner in OT over PVI

With no shot clock, draws most definitely win games
