I thought in a capitalistic society CEOs are entitled to humongous compensations because they are better than us, making companies thrive thanks to their superior brains. I am not sure why they seem to be still entitled to humongous compensations when they run the companies into the ground like Musk is doing.
His brother is on the board along with several other flunkies. A judge in Delaware nixed his compensation package as excessive following an investor complaint, which is exceedingly rare and he’s appealing that now.
