I've been thinking about this in general lately -- how I'm just a polite person who tries to get along with others and that's less me to just put up with a lot of rude behavior. And I just don't want to anymore.

I no longer smile at dog owners as I don't she their dog's aggressive behavior outside. When I hear dogs barking for long periods of time, I just call in a noise complaint. I will leave a grocery store or restaurant where people are there with dogs, and I will stop and let the manager know it's why I'm leaving.

I just think we've all been polite for too long because God forbid we express unhappiness with a dog and get accused of hating dogs (ftr, I don't hate dogs at all, I just hate when they have crappy, irresponsible owners).

Yep xMillion. they arrive just as you are leaving, returning home. No I don't want your fking dog at my driveway! If I did want a greeter, I have my own to do so. So disgusting.

Is there ANY trail in any part of DC MD VA where there are NO dogs???!!! Where where where??? Omg. Can't enjoy a moment in nature without the trying to leap at walkers, pissing everywhere, sniffing people though they are leashed. And their human is on a f phone oblivious or at least acts like it. Um, I have to take my little chihuahua out for walks and to do his business. He is 11 years old, slow and really doesn't yap.

I worked in retail part time for the discount. It was incredible how many women would bring a dog in the store. It was weird and rude but we could never say anything.

People like this are the problem. Don't get huge dogs you can't physically restrain. Train your dog no matter their size so that they don't randomly lunge at people in public. And if you can't do either of the previous two things, don't take your dog into public spaces, especially not indoors.

Yes, you might run into someone's outdoor cat occasionally, but that's a MUCH less frequent occurrence than dealing with bad dogs or their owners. And at least those cats bury their poop, unlike the many dog owners who just leave it for the world to witness and step on.

nah, I'm sick of outdoor cats, too. Someone's nasty "outdoor cat" using my food garden as a litterbox is completely inappropriate.
