How about if instead you explain what people who can't access bathrooms are supposed to do when they need to use a bathroom?
Not all the bathrooms are locked. Just some. This makes it more manageable to determine who was there, when, and monitor. Also by HS I would tell you to plan accordingly. Go before leaving home, plan to go during lunch, and after school. If you need to go more often than that one should pay attention to what bathrooms are unlocked and again plan.
Sure, girls should just tell their periods to hold on between hours of 8am and 3pm. Please think before you post.
Seriously. Did you think before you posted. Girls on their period have or should always be planning. You need to know when to change your feline product of choice. And if you’re smart you have the proper backup based on your flow (ie thicker pad, period underwear, thin pad under a tampon). If you can go at one of the times suggested, go to class and get a pass.
Stop acting like it’s lines around the block like at a stadium concert with no alternatives.
I know right!?! These people are some serious drama queens. We don't even have this issue at our school.
Then not your issue. Move on.
I just don't like people spreading these false rumors.
They aren’t false. Locked bathrooms have been well documented. Go back to truthsocial where you belong.
Maybe at a few schools where kids have abused the poddy privileges but most places this just isn't true.
At least as of last spring they were locked at WJ and RM. people on this thread said also Kennedy, Einstein and some others. Can you name the magical school where no bathrooms are locked? I remember asking last year and no one ever responded. We are not saying it is a problem at 100% of HS. But it is a significant problem at a significant number of HS.
RM still has locked bathrooms. I asked DD yesterday. They also have a new digital hallpass that DD said sucks, and even the teachers hate them.

So, parents are telling you they are locked. At best you have a kid or work at one school and you think you can speak for all kids. Some kids need to go more often, especially girls at that time of the money. Some kids have health issues. Locking bathrooms is unaccepatable. They need to monitor them.

Perhaps at one or two schools where students have abused their privileges. At our school they aren't things are fine and I'm tired of hearing these false complaints.
