That's you're opinion - i'm fed up with the current members. I won't be voting for any of the incumbents this time around. Even if there is no alternate candidate I'm writing in Steve Austin, if nothing else as a protest vote to irk whomever is voting for these nutcases.

I find that she and Smondrowski are the only sensible ones on that board.
She reminds me of someone that drank and partied a little too hard in her day. She is also just sock puppeted by the squeaky wheels.
The thing about people who sit on the BOE of any district, they aren’t required to have any knowledge or training in education yet they are essentially the “boss” of the superintendent. The ideas and reasoning of having a BOE is antiquated and needs to be re-evaluated.

I thought she was the one who went against the board, then caved? No? At least that's what seems to have occurred according to the transcript of the session reported by the Parents Coalition?
If she had actually stood against Wolfe I would have had some respect but when you fold like a cheap suit, I really don't. If the moderate members can't influence the radical ones, all the board members need to go at this point.
No, Smondrowski and Silvestre initially objected to the calendar changes, but then relented and ultimately voted yes. Harris voted no.

Okay so you found one fragment of a sentence that was not perfectly written, congratulations. Do you disagree that teachers often stay in their jobs despite being unhappy to get pensions? If you do disagree with that, I'm gonna go ahead and surmise that that we just live in different universes. Do you disagree that MCEA demands salary increases above anything else? Have you not seen the numerous posts on DCUM reminding people that MCEA advocates for teachers, not students, and that's why problems with the curriculum that teachers hate is not MCEA's fault (remember, it's not their problem, even though it makes them hate their jobs).
