95% of Congress men and women care way more about protecting their mega-donor network who have close ties to people implicated in the Epstein files than they do this girl's sad story.
Nearly half the House has voted to release the files.
In many cases you'll see politicians support something they know won't pass in order to remain on the right side of the issue in the eyes of their constituents without passing something their puppet masters don't want. This is a strategic advantage those in the minority party typically have.
If you have some evidence that all the members of Congress who’ve come out in support of releasing the files, please share it.
Otherwise, your argument that “everyone in Congress is corrupt on this issue” is a) baseless, and b) seems like the type of low-effort propaganda designed to disengage voters from the political process.
The 95% figure was an exaggeration on this particular issue. There is some layer of moral existence remaining in most members of Congress and this issue tugs at that moral existence. Otherwise, the fact that all but a handful of our Congress men and women are subject to undue influence from mega-donors is well known by both political insiders and outsiders.
If you think claims of widespread corruption in Congress are "baseless", you're either a complete and utter idiot or you have some financial stake in the game such as being one of the sleazy RNC or DNC operatives. Or perhaps you could be one of the corrupt politicians or mega donating entities attempting to blow smoke in mirrors. You're fooling no one!!
“Everyone is corrupt! It’s all hopeless! Let’s not do anything!”
