Capital appeared to make some adjustments, and played even on draw and game with Hero's Green.

I get that the loss feels better if SW is a team to contend with, but not enough changed for this to be believable.
To my eyes, SWB looked better than last year. Hero’s is still top of the pack.
Do you think Hero’s looked improved with their new additions?
I am not sure. What do you think?
Hero's was already excellent at midfield. I did not see a dramatic improvement, but this could be application of the law of diminishing marginal returns. Picking up a legit draw specialist would have been more impactful.
The draw is not a place they struggled in the past. Possessing the ball wasn't ever a problem for them, and the two middes they got both take the draw.
Agree 💯

Hero's is a great team, but the draw is not where they excel and all of their opponents know this. They could run away with games if they could control the draw better. The games yesterday did not demonstrate a significant improvement in draw controls. No disrespect intended here. They are one of the very best teams in the country AND they have an opportunity to improve, which is a great place to be.
Most any team could run away with a game if they control the draw more. I think heros controlled the draw more than 50% of every game with what they had. The only game I saw them be out of the draw control game was against Coppermine, and now they have their draw girl, so that should solve the problem.
Respectfully, it did not solve the problem yesterday. Capital was randomly trying new players on the draw and they were about as effective as Hero's.

Heros beat SWB 11-9
SWB has a new player who is a difference maker and their top middie is not getting worse. They are going to be a tough out.
All their new players are from B teams…
SWB #4 was the player that impressed. No idea whether she is a new player, but she did stand out in the 12:00 PM game.
