The Legacy Collective is nothing more than a scam to find themselves on the backs of legitimate charity causes. No one needs to donate my money for me, thank you very much. I am capable of researching and making good decisions on my own. I don’t need the Hatmakers, with all of their OBVIOUS great decision making skills moral superiority to help me out. I got it…..really, it’s ok, I got it.

F’n carnival barkers- the lot of ‘em.

And the 2022 report says:
Since 2015, we have raised over 6.4 M

Which would put them at just a little under 2021

So if they raised close to $1.4MM in 2022 and only distributed $551K, that sends alarm bells off. Before jumping to any conclusions, however, it would help to see more details which aren't included in this report. Hmm.

In 2021, they raised $1.5 MM and distributed close to $1.1MM.

Maybe I am overlooking it, but unlike past reports, I don’t see where it shows how much money they raised in 2022. Only how much they gave in 2022 and how much total they’ve raised since 2015. Is there a dollar amount for 2022? The only reasons to omit it would be because it was either embarrassingly low compared to the past fundraising, or embarrassingly high compared to what actually went to nonprofits (vs. excessive expenses). 🤷🏾‍♀️

Right.

They chose not to include that in their 2022 report. Total grants in 2022 were $551K, about half of the previous year. That suggests they raised a lot less money vs 2021.

The natural conclusion is that their administrative & marketing costs continue to be high (if not higher), since they chose not to disclose them in the annual report this time.

Would love to understand that $500,000 versus overhead for the year.

Where are the new numbers?
In 2021, they raised $1,524,188.20 and total giving from that was $1,086,779. The rest was spent on marketing/admin. Curious how 2022 compares. Not sure if they ever show the exact breakdown of expenses.

I am pretty “basic”. I only have a journalism degree from a small school in the Midwest. My only real career was a few years working in corporate events. I’m not famous, never wanted to be. I’ve never been Guest #4 on the Tamara Hall Show. So yeah, pretty “basic”.

But I’m happily married for 18 years with all the usual ups and downs, have three great teens, and enjoy the companionship of a handful of old dear friends, all of them pretty “basic”. I mean none of them have pointed at dildos with a leather whip on Instagram Live.

But if being “basic” means never having to promo code mental health services for profit or being predatory by milking vulnerable women for gain I’d gladly be “basic” till the day I die.

She’s not that interesting or that smart. Please ladies, get a constructive hobby or go volunteer somewhere. This is getting to be kind of cruel in its own way. And also it’s boring.

Agree, lots of basic women on here.

Super low engagement on For The Love podcast on Instagram and Facebook.

Latest book made a brief appearance on the NYT’s Misc. and How To Best Seller List then quickly tumbled out into obscurity.

The brief tour for said book didn’t appear to be any barnburner attendance wise as there weren’t really any big, wide lens photos from Team Jen showing huge crowds of corn-eaters.

No word about any new book or book deal in development.

The book club continues but does anyone know how many corn-eaters participate? Someone earlier said that she used to be a subscriber, stopped, then recently has been marketed to to rejoin with the offer of one free MeCourse. Might be withering on the vine?

Which leads to the question. How many MeCourses is Jen selling?

I think income is really drying up unless there are some surprises up above.

Hence the huge ramp up of promo code shilling over the past year.

Oh without a doubt, Jen and some people in her inner circle read this thread from time to time. You don’t get to her level of narcissism and ignore the largest online community dedicated to you. She would definitely lie about it though trying to seem more humble than she is.

Most influencers dream of having a powerhouse thread like this dedicated to them, even with the constant (fairly mild) critiques. Publicity is publicity.

If you want to slobber her knobs, go to Facebook or Instagram and you’ll be welcomed with open arms. If you’re entertained by the car crash and want to gossip freely, you’ve found your place.

Big Sis definitely reads this. And Big Sas has too in the past. He’s even commented on here all supper sassy and vulgar. And we know Brandon has as he’s outed himself while defending The LeGrifty Collective.

^Right? I keep thinking either Jen or her assistant or one of her besties has started monitoring this thread with the intent to push back. Because the defense of her in the last few pages has suddenly gotten stronger and doesn't jive at all with the overall feelings of the rest of the people who are here. It's like she told Amanda to handle it. If she'd just allow normal criticism and differing opinions on her social media accounts, this entire thread would likely die in a week or two. But I do think she or someone close to her reads it, because her posts seem to play right into it. Someone on here mentioned that she hadn't posted squat about Remy being home and boom- cue post about how proud she is of Remy. Someone commented on here about whether or not she was ditching the sex podcast that had been scheduled for February and boom- the very next day, she throws out the first episode. If she makes any sort of post whatsoever about her cookbook in conjunction with the Superbowl - and I'm totally agreed with PP that this would be the right time to push a bunch of fried/party/crowd food- then that's likely a strong confirmation of her connection to this thread.
