Agreed. She looks awful with the yellow hair/red face/red lipstick combo. I think she's very pretty and would look great if she toned down the brassiness and did more natural makeup. What would cause her face to be so red all the time? If it's rosacea, it seems like something she'd write a monologue about and shill some sort of treatment. Alcohol? Medication? Peels? Tanning bed?

Amazingly, they see Jen as a Big Sis figure who's aspirational based on buying the lie of her online life.

Glennon Doyle and Sarah Bessey and Rachel Hollis and Big Sis are all sort of now playing in the same sandbox.

It’s hard for people who ascribe to group think to understand that plenty of people are able to think for themselves. It seems the majority of Jen’s followers like some things about her and don’t care for other things. You can tell by the engagement on her posts that all of her fans aren’t all-in on everything that she posts/shills/believes. Her posts on progressive Christianity and motherhood still resonate for many while other posts and sales pitches have little engagement and occasionally even some criticism.

It's easy to think she only has stans when she deletes every single negative comment, and always has, like a 15 year old girl on Instagram.

Even if she deletes some comments, you can see the overall engagement on her posts. Her followers are not demanding constant content. Some posts have very few likes and comments. People take what works for them and ignore the rest—or in the case of better help—some challenge her.

Jen’s haters have concocted some version of what a typical Jen follower is and it’s just wrong.

I’ve never had fillers, and I am not opposed to getting them. Google has assured me that undereye fillers do not move.
So….what in the world is the large bump under her right eye (and slightly smaller bump under her left)????

Lol. She literally compared a bookstore NOT selling her books to Jesus’ crucifixion and death.
I don’t believe anything she says.

This forever.

Right, but the point isn't whether she's reliable. Everyone knows she exaggerates and that is why she described what was likely a pretty standard conversation about winding down the marriage as some of sort of dramatic event.

I just can't fathom how so many women believe a version of events based on assumptions and zero information, and continue to believe these events to serve their need to vilify the woman. Brandon said he didn't want to stay married anymore. That didn't mean there weren't difficult conversations happening, but enough with this bs about Jen not trying (and now we're blaming these harlot friends of hers for encouraging divorce?!? Come on y'all.....)

Originally the cruise was supposed to be for Jen's super precious inner circle book club members. But evidently not enough people signed up so she opened it up to everyone, including their friends, sisters, mothers, and daughters and their friends, sisters, mothers, and daughters!! a few weeks ago. But she's still trying to drum up signees.

I wonder how many she has and how many she needs?

To me the cruise sounds like pure hell. Who has the time and money for a dumpy 5 day cruise to one location? There are like 1000 things I'd rather do with a few K and 5 days, if given the choice.

Can you imagine the horror show of seeing Jen and her most sassy side sisters awkwardly dancing to Taylor Swift songs trying to all empower the audience and shit? Jen even brighter and redder than usual on account of the blinding sun?

Saw on Reddit, Jen’s new Instagram stories about the cruise.

1) Amazing backyard!

2) Her promotional photo for the cruise looks so good. I don’t want to snark on looks but how can she write entire novellas about whether her jeans or leggings are in and yet refuse to let go of the blonde hair.

3) That Alexis boop face disturbs me. Is it a tic of some sort? Is she trying to come across as extra genuine? I don’t remember this face happening so much before. It’s like how I interact with my cat, not other human beings above the age of 5.

4) The cruise itself sounds like one of those weird MLM trips. I hate to say it but the thought of going reminds me of that video where Shannan and Chris Watts are at some event singing and dancing to Bon Jovi. So forced and awkward. OBVIOUSLY NOT SAYING THAT ANYONE SHOULD BE COMPARED TO CHRIS!!!

And my above message is not intended the dangers of leaving a partner. Many women (and some men) end up dead trying to leave their partners. Jen has never even hinted that Brandon is physically abusive though. The most I’ve heard is that he tended to withdraw and could get prickly rather than expressing his true feelings. The point is, her post made is seem like she needed this big tough guy ready to come in swinging if needed and I seriously doubt that was the case.
