Victoria looks great here, I love this dress. I also thought Kate's fall lawyers with the midi skirt was both on trend and in keeping with her style, and just beautiful.

Once again, Melania doesn't look bad, exactly, but she looks weird. The jacket is so fussy and not particularly flattering. The pants are a weird length for this setting and the flats look too insubstantial. It's imbalanced. I actually would bet that she intended to wear stilettos with this outfit and had to change them out for a pair of flats due to condition of the ground (the other women are also wearing flats). Given the time of year, that should have been planned for with a different option available.

It's okay. But underwhelming and kind of weird.

It's fine. But it adds more fuel to my theory that Usha is just really depressed and barely able to pull it together for public appearances. It screams frazzled, WOHM who stopped at WHBM on the way home to buy something for an event.

There is nothing about that picture that screams frazzled.

The issue is that she looks like she's doing the bare minimum to look presentable at an event. She's SLOTUS and her job right now is to represent the US at events...and dinner with foreign royalty, even at their house, is an official event.

For me, the frazzled part is something I can relate to. I worked all day, kids will be all over me when I get home and sitter doesn't arrive for another hour, but oh no the dress I was going to wear to this dinner for DH's work is at the dry cleaners. So let me stop at the mall and get the first reasonable thing that fits. If I'm lucky, I will have time to shower, blow dry my hair, and do 5 min of makeup. That's what she looks like, but that isn't her life anymore.

I really have no idea why some of you go on creating these inner lives for these women. Also I thought you understand what the phrase “screams frazzled” means.

Why would we need to know an inner thought of yours like this? Your thoughts on others free speech?

It is strange she wore the same outfit the next day--very unlike her. When they left the WH after Trump lost the election, she changed from a black Jackie Onassis dress into a Florida-style muu muu. He disappeared over the summer and then did not show up for classes at stern. Story is he is at White House, taking classes at nyu branch at DC. There’s like 100 students, so you’d think someone would notice. I know students at gwu and nobody noticed motorcade going back and forth. Maybe he’s taking online classes?
