Actually heard the rumor as well, but I’m skeptical because they are right next to McLean.
I have no inside information whatsoever - so this is pure speculation - but I wonder if there was an unwriten agreement about the girls when Arlington boys joined ECNL.

Legends FC, one of the best clubs in the nation, had to put their teams in ECNL-R this year just to get back in.
