Trust me I can feel your stares from a mile away, you are not welcoming of a more diverse community at all
Stop spreading lies, I live in a wealthy White community (McLean) and this is not the sentiment at all. The elementary my kids go to is 42% minority, school has a great community, parents are nice and involved. We are POC (South Asian) so I guess I know what I am talking. People here in McLean are welcoming of a diverse community, this myth that people living in expensive neighborhoods don't welcome diversity is just a myth. My kids are friends with all sorts of kids, White, Brown, Black.
Also, diversity doesn't not mean Black and Hispanic but in your mind that's all diversity is about.

Any discussion about the Langley boundaries certainly highlights resentment of those who are angry that it doesn't have a high enough percentage of FARMs, Hispanic and African American kids. If these people were really happy about the demographics at their schools they would be bragging about how it makes them superior.
Like the host of Reston impact, they feel that Langley is nearly all "cream of the crop upper income whites" and it makes them mad. Very racist.
There are many brown people at Langley, just not the right type of brown.
You can't tell these racist liberals that. As far as they are concerned high test scores and financial stability makes people white.

They do not want their kids at a school with poor Hispanic kids, whether it’s their kids moving to Herndon or Herndon kids moving to Langley. Their prejudice was so unfiltered that it embarrassed other Langley parents. They believe they have earned the right to live entirely apart from poorer people.
If you have plenty of money and are well educated, they do not care about race.
Is that racism or is that practicality, given how many resources are taken away to pander to the Hispanic illegal base? Is it wrong to not want your kids going to school with gangs?

I can’t say I blame them one bit.
-1. Such ugly xenophobia and nativism on display.

I hate to break it to you, but no one is staring at you from miles away or thinking about you at all.
What makes some schools highly rated?
