Good lord, now they’re quoting Russian spies. And bringng in Bernie. Could these people get any more stupid?

"I know you are but what am I, pp?" That is the response your idiotic response and the response before yours deserves.

If your cave is so dark that you cannot except that Russia was involved in the 2016 election, nothing can help you.

I cannot stand Bernie but I will vote for him if I have to.

Carry on with your cocktail.

PP here. I have no idea how you managed to so completely misconstrue what I was saying, but you did. I think Trump is selling his soul and our country to Russia, and has been for some time. And I can’t stand Bernie either, but I’ll vote for him in the unlikely event that he is the Democratic nominee.

uh, support for the ACA is riding around 70% right now. You may want to check that argument.

Good Lord. Where do you get your data from? Mother Jones?

This. But, in any case, it was passed against the wishes of most Americans. Many of them remember Nancy walking in with her caucus and basically thumbing her nose at the protesters.

Approval is at about 48%.

She actually said to my friend who was one of the protesters ‘just wait till you get cancer’ to which my friend replied ‘I HAD cancer’. Which she did

Actually, ranter, I don't care for 45. However, I'd rather have 45 than someone who wishes to change the principles on which we were founded. We were not founded on socialism. We were founded as a republic that respected individual rights and freedoms. We were founded on freedom of religion, too. And, if you go back to the initial revolt, it was over taxes. Democrats want to change that.

Have mistakes been made? Sure. Slavery was the most egregious one--but, we had a war and changed that. Many Americans gave their lives in that war. Lately, we've made some other mistakes involving wars. Some poor decisions were made. Also, a law for health care was passed against the wishes of most Americans. And some Congressmen lost their jobs as a result of that passage. Some have come to support that law--many still resent the way it was done and the results that led to a big jump in health care costs. That still needs to be worked out. So about that changing of the principles thing....

I like my presidents to respect the peaceful transfer of power, whether it is 4 years or 8.

In the ultimate irony, ACA approval started rising when the Trumpsters finally realized that Obamacare was how they were getting their health care.

What exactly has Trump done to stop Russian influence on our elections? Be specific.

Nothing. Homeland Security and others have been warning that Russian election hacking and influence operations have actually gotten even more aggressive since 2016.

During Clinton impeachment, the public perceived the events to be punishment for private behavior. Trump's obstruction is using power of the presidency to shield him from public accountability.

Let's not use false equivalences and whataboutism to equate the two.
