Walk home from work in the snow. What's particularly awful is that someone doing nothing wrong can be charged with "resisting arrest". In addition to the personal trauma, their employment prospects could be negatively impacted forever, because of that "have you ever been arrested" box on a job application because of some power-tripping cop with a gun.

Arlington County police used to get calls about "Black men" shopping in the Whole Foods. Not a unique phenomenon to rural areas.
