Those schools are used to kids leaving early pp. They wont hold it against you.

Wouldn't applying before graduating from NPS/ST. Pat's burn bridges? Are those schools really supportive of the families who try to leave early and do this?

This is a baffling question. Applicants do not have to submit a WISC - optional for lower school. STA has a test , transcripts required , etc.

The test that the school administers is the WISC.

No it isn't.

How silly. Why post if you don't know? The WISC is administered one on one. The test the kids take is an achievement test, not an IQ test.

Then why does the school give you an IQ score from the test they administer if you inquire after being accepted?

The lower school head refers to their test as an IQ test. During our orientation mtg several years ago, he told our grade that all of the boys scored at least a 120 on the IQ test.

Maybe they administer the OLSAT which is a written exam (not 1-on-1 like the WISC) but gives an "IQ" score like the WISC. I use "quotes" because IQ is such a relative read in any of these testing situations.

I think the biggest entry years are 4th grade, 7th grade and 9th grade.

Good question about WISC. Do we know if 120 is the minimum? Does STA accept anyone with a WISC below 120? How low?

I was told that they would like to see a score above 120

I think this bullying mentality is more of a reality at G-Prep.

For bright, athletic boys who are being raised to be masters of the universe? There is no substitute.
