I'm assuming he can't reveal classified info, but there may be other elements that aren't classified but that he would have erred on not testifying to as leading the investigation...?
I posted this last night and it got lost in a lot of trolling/arguing/discussion about other elements. Can anyone speak to this?
Yes, he's scheduled to speak either today or tomorrow. Why can't he still testify?
Per Senator Warner last night, he is still scheduled. Closed door though.
Also, NY Times just reported that Comey had asked Rod Rosenstein for more $$$ & Personnel for Russian investigation days before he was fired.

IQ should be discussed on another thread.

I wonder whether part of the reason they acted so quickly to fire him now is specifically to discourage him from testifying in closed session. They worry about what he might say as head of the FBI.
But why would this make a difference? Presumably his brain was not emptied of information the moment he was fired. He can testify about classified information in closed session. Why wouldn't he be called to testify after he'd been fired. Sally Yates was fired by Trump, yet we all saw her testifying. What's stopping Comey?
Whatever Comey might say in closed session will be conveyed to the WH. Loose lips ...

Not testifying. Huzzah.
Is this a prediction or do you have a link?
