Probably. You’d think there would be….signs…by now. It has been warm-ish this week. The lots are not so large that signs would not be noticed. Or at least I would not have thought so.

Why? It's not Savannah's duty to provide for her siblings.

It’s not her duty no. But I’d certainly be sharing the wealth with my brother and his family if I were worth 50 million and were not even that close..

Maybe the brother didn't want it.

I can explain the mom- she and her husband bought that house together 50 years ago. It wasn’t all that expensive- it has just appreciated over time. Most of the other residents in the neighborhood have just lived there a long time. Not wealthy people, typically. The rest are just college educated dual income households. Some doctors or lawyers etc -sure, but not “rich people”. Those people live further up the hill.

Savannah grew up very middle class. Attended the local U of A and lived at home during college. She may help her mother financially with some extras like travel or household help. I don’t get the sense Nancy lives a lavish lifestyle.

As for the sister and BIL- who knows. They are reported to be very close, but people don’t tend to air dirty laundry in public (especially if one family member is famous).

I called it a while back that they were going to find her body in the neighborhood.

I repeat, the overwhelming majority of local cops around the country are lazy, totally worthless morons who steal 6 figure compensations and collect fat pensions and lifetime health care after 25 years. The only crimes local cops ever solve are Walmart shoplifters.

Boxes of evidence were removed from daughter Annie and her husband's home late this afternoon:

IF someone thought they could get a sizeable ransom for her but didn't want to commit murder, all they would have to do is lure her out of the house on some pretext and into a car.

If they were REAL insiders, they would also know that she needs her medication and may have stolen/taken some over a period of time to have on hand for just this purpose.

She may be sitting in some windowless room somewhere but is being cared for and medicated as needed.

If the ransom demand doesn't work out, they will figure out a way to drop her off somewhere.

What I don't understand is - who in her orbit would be truly stupid enough to think that they would actually get away with this?

I mean, we could all make a list of the stupid crimes people have committed in this category:

Nancy Kerrigan attack
Gloria Vanderbilt kidnapping
Charles Lindbergh baby kidnapping and murder.

“Orbit” can be pretty broad. Elizabeth smart was kidnapped by someone who had done some maintenance work on her parents house and had scoped out the scene that way. The Greek family killing was a guy who had worked a small amount for the dad. My guess is that the perpetrator is someone who did work on the house and realized she had a famous daughter, or someone who did Amazon or intacsrt or whatever deliveries to th house. I think if it was a creepy neighbor someone would have already called that in.

Does NOT mean it is true. But the rumors are very strong & all in one direction.

Does anyone actually know the son in law personally? What is he like? And is he really stupid enough to think he could pull this off without getting caught?

The only thing I have heard is that he is a well regarded teacher (he teaches at a charter school in a nearby suburb)

Grid search happening in the wooded area around Nancy Guthrie's house right now.
Watching it with our drone.

I would imagine an arrest is imminent if they have gotten warrants to search the homes. I’m sure that this is escalating now that information they probably have been trying to keep quiet is now public.
