However, Kenyan is just too corrupt. I cant do it. There is. 100 percent chance that he will direct city contracts in a way that financially benefits his own family and friends. I just can't handle corruption in office anymore.
And JLG will steer contracts to criminal minded violence interrupters who are not effective. She knows that though as she's ok with the crime in the city as her record shows.

Honestly, I'm not for putting them away necessarily, but there must be consequences. Otherwise these kids will grow up, continue on the criminal path, and eventually end up in prison or dead. We are not doing them any favors by letting them get away with this.
Punishment doesn’t prevent crime. But it does needlessly subject children to unspeakable brutality and violence.
Does anyone actually believe this?
The threat of punishment absolutely prevents crime. Look at countries like Singapore.

Yes, it absolutely does. Certainty of punishment is an incredibly effective deterrent. Please read the academic literature, and not the poorly-researched propaganda put out by organizations like Harriet's Wildest Dreams, the police and prison abolitionist group that JLG's top staffer founded.

In DC I am more afraid of “children” than adults.
It sounds like you might be happier living in an exurb. City life isn’t for everyone.
