Any mature adult would have seen where he was going with it and been like "oh good--it's for his kid" and felt pretty good about the whole situation. She behaved badly.
ALL THAT BEING SAID, I completely agree that the online harassment and doxxing has become a terrifying cultural phenomenon and no one deserves it. But if you generally behave like a normal, respectful human being, it is unlikely to happen to you.
He was absolutely WRONG.. It was her ball. He could have asked for it after the fact explaining it was his son's birthday but it was not in his section and it was in hers. I can understand why she was upset and she had every right to be.
Why is it ok for a man to do this?
Just own up and apologize already, this can’t be anyone other than the ball stealer.
There is no rule that the ball belongs to a section. The ball belongs to whomever gets their hands on it first.
She won fair and square. Why are the men so het up that a woman had the balls to confront someone and get the ball she wanted? If it's a "no rules, whoever wins wins" situation then -- she won. Good for her.
She didn’t win anything. Everyone who attends baseball games knows that until and unless someone has full possession of the ball, it’s fair game. The dad gave her the ball because she was acting unstable and he wanted to show his kids it’s better to deescalate the situation. The fact that she was female had zero to do with it. It had everything to do with her acting like a raving lunatic.

There’s too much chance of someone getting hurt as zealous fans race into other sections. Stay in your seats and areas! Only leave via the designated routes to the bathrooms, concessions and exits. Safety people! Safety!
He didn't push anyone. Did you even watch the video?
If she had been younger and more spry maybe she would have got it herself. But she must have been three sheets to the wind and had no chance.

So if the dad tiok the ball from a girl to give to his son that would be ok?

Exactly which is why Karen needs to be a big girl and apologize for being so stupid.
