Nothing about bathrooms. Sorry, bigots. Maybe time to move on to a new campaign tactic. Leave our kids alone.
This could fall under education for some
Obviously the bathrooms issue isn’t going to be a top issue for the majority of people, including those who believe that bathrooms should be separated by sex. I don’t think biological males should be able to enter female bathrooms for example. However that’s the least of my concerns. I care about the issues you mentioned far more and fall on the liberal end of the spectrum of these debates specifically when it comes to immigration and female reproductive rights.
Do you think it would be a bigger concern for you if you had a daughter who was a competitive athlete who came in second place to a trans girl?
Or if you had a special education student at risk of losing services? If you relied on free and reduced lunch?
I have a kid who receives SN services and I think it’s beyond disgusting how the Republicans are trying to pit vulnerable groups against each other just to score political points.

GTFO, bigot.
Less than 50% of both Rs and Ds nationwide think bathrooms are an issue.
Ds nationwide were 25%.
It’s just not an issue for the vast majority of people in extremely blue Arlington.
This article is over 7 months old. You say it’s just not an issue in Arlington but I think it is now more so since Trump had forced the issue and APS has decided to file the lawsuit.
And I don’t think it’s as unified as progressives would want, hence the don’t bring it up position of Arlington Democrats.

Three years ago they were 100% behind requiring trans women on women’s sports teams, calling it a constitutional and human rights issue. They would have happily imposed this policy across the entire country.
That’s why Trump is making an issue of it. Every attempt to minimize is just a defensive crouch and at best a tactical retreat until they can come back later and run the board. If there were genuine interest in a long-term settlement or some form of localization there would be no need for the Trump policy.
Like it or not, Trump voters concluded that they have to win their policies everywhere if they want any hope of being able to run their own local policy. Enjoy living under the rules you’ve created.
