No, that's what we have police for. Two things can be simultaneously true: mugging is a terrible crime, and DC does not need the National Guard today.

Mugging being normalized and us taking it for granted is a horrible crime.

This was predicted. DC kept the schools closed for too long during COVID. Mayor Bowser tried her best to get the schools open earlier but the teachers union and the Council fought her. Now we’re paying the price. This was predictable. Now time for a change.
