But you are right, if we only want to promote player success based on D1 commits, that's a different motive.

MLS Next may generally be better, but D1 is increasingly for 20-something Euros. 18 y/o American kids, unfortunately, are shafted - it’s even tough-going these days for most of the MLS Academy kids.
