A lot of these activities have waitlists already. I didn't expect the camps to be so expensive - not sure how they justify the cost.
The camps at the link you included are ~$350 for 5 days from 9-4. Honestly, that seems like a really good deal compared to camps put on by colleges or clubs. A 3-day all skills camp at American University in July is $477 https://register.ryzer.com/camp.cfm?sport=8&id=295556. I’m curious what you’d expect to pay for a full week camp?

Metro: 7 total teams qualified for GJNC
— 3 Open Division Bids
— 4 National Division Bids
— 1 team qualified in age groups U12-U18
Paramount: 9 total teams qualified for GJNC
— 2 Open Bids
— 5 National Division Bids
— 1 American Division Bid
— 1 Freedom Division Bid
— multiple teams qualified on the U14 and U15 age groups
Can you please stop with the shameless promotion of Paramount and Metro. Level of bid to nationals is one of many metrics of a "successful" season. You are showing just how ill informed you actually are.
Please list some of those other metrics?
College commitments, AES/USAV national rankings, club rankings by the Triple Crown group.
Maybe resurrect this thread if you want to argue Paramount v Metro. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1227461.page
AES/USAV Rankings are useless algorithms. They aren’t people actually ranking teams. For example, a team could play in the club division at tournaments, hardly ever lose, and be ranked higher than a team that plays tougher competition all year.
