Why would CC need FCV GA players to attend an ID session? He’s very well acquainted with those players already. And it’s not like they’re going to be selective. They just need to convince enough players to come over so that they can field a “legitimate” team in each age group under the Revolution name. Outside of those FCV GA players, Revolution has no GA level talent of their own. They’re a cellar dweller in EDP and NCSL, after all. If the GA accepted them based on their existing teams, they’d make BRAVE look like a World Cup contender!

Imagine if GA loses Tophat or Michigan Nationals or some of its other top clubs to ECNL this year. Stick a fork in them. They done!

Makes sense that it would become a legal battle. VRSC gaining access to GA is coming into a market that FCV served. FCV would be finished if that occurs.

Once that is done, then they have to release your player card if you request it. In the case of the FCV coaches who are trying to convince FCV players to move over to Revolution, they’re telling them that Revolution will waive their club fees for the spring so families aren’t paying twice. Which is, of course, what you’d expect (and demand) from a club that’s trying to get you to move before the season is over.
That seems like a great way for revolution to drown in legal fees
Is it scummy behavior? Yep. I would even say borderline unethical. But as for whether what the now and soon-to-be former FCV coaches are doing in trying to "poach" players from TSJ FCV to come over to Revolution is a violation of anything in their individual contracts (for those still technically employed), only TSJ knows that. And at this point, I'm pretty confident that they're aware of what's going on "behind the scenes" with their former staff.

Full rosters to play for Revolutions or FCV?
