It seems like wishful thinking on her part. Not the part about Trump’s felony conviction, which is honestly pretty likely, but that she’s going to become the defecto Repo nom in that case. That’s not gonna happen. Their hateful base, voting for a woman who’s not White, whose birth name (yes, I know “Nikki” is her middle name, but Haley is her married name, hence “birth name”) is one of those ones that the GOP base would mock endlessly.
