GP loves to make the argument that the big Catholic schools are too big & bad to compete against in most sports and that the academic standards in the WCAC are "beneath them". With that being said, Prep is significantly larger than any IAC upper school.

The argument that the boarding program is designed primarily for international students is a lock of s**t. GP has been recruiting athletes up and down the East Coast for boarding purposes for decades now.

I guess math is also not a strength. “Prep is 3X the size of Bullis, Saint Stephens, and Episcopal”? You’re suggesting those schools have 40 students total in their graduating class? That would be 3X the size. 🙄 All those schools have over 100 kids in their graduating classes, similar to Prep. If you are looking at just boys then that is half or 2X not 3X. And Episcopal is a boarding school so they have the ability to recruit as much as they want - even more so that Prep which is only 25% boarders. And let’s not forget STA is over 80 boys per grade and has a boarding component as well. Stop making excuses.

sorry but the IAC is a better lacrosse conference than the WCAC.

The two conferences are pretty even if you look at 6 IAC vs 6 WCAC. Illuminate the other 4 WCAC teams. It's unfortunate that the IAC teams are scared to play the top team in the DMV and the WCAC. Prep playing teams like Ryken is a joke.

Um, Prep was the top team in the DMV this year, so what are talking about? Ranked #4 nationally. All IAC teams and a few WCAC teams did play them. SJC is lost in the past and the one with the issue.

BTW, in the IAC we also understand our vocabulary and spelling, it’s more important in the long run than lax. *eliminate

Prep got smoked by STM last year. Not worried about IL rankings. In the DMV everyone knows that SJC is the top team. Why would Prep refuse to play if they really believed they were the better team?
