Twitter is full of a bunch of weird old men who are haters, and isn't representative of normal society. If those kids stayed off of Twitter, they would've noticed no such divide in the "media"
Except a lot of mainstream media has been ready to crown Caitlin the greatest and give her the most visibility while completely ignoring her bad behavior. Or saying she's a "fierce competitor" "has swagger" or has that "dog in her". Hailey Van Lith has awful behavior and gets the same pass.
Dawn Staley made the point that someone overheard major media figures disparaging her team in such terms. The SEC girls notice these things for sure. They see the Cavinder twins and Olivia Duane leading in NIL money, along with Paige Bueckers, Hailey Van Lith, Cameron Brink and Caitlin Clark. They see who the media gives a pass.

- Does Caitlin Clark trash talk? Yes
- Does Angel Reese trash talk? Yes
- Were people outraged by Angel when they weren’t outraged by Caitlin, begging the question why? Yes
- Did Angel take it a little too far by following Caitlin around with the John Cena gesture? Yes
- Did Angel come for Caitlin in a way she wouldn’t have come for a Black player who had acted the same way? Yes
- Was Jill Biden ridiculous for suggesting that Iowa should come to the White House too? Yes
- Did Angel fan the flames by suggesting they would only go to the Obama’s house? Yes
- Has Angel been making deliberate choices to boost her own profile/brand? Yes
Don’t think Angel rubbing the win in Caitlin’s face had anything to do with race. Was more about competition, bragging rights, and reacting to the “can’t see me” taunts that Caitlin started.
I absolutely disagree. She would not have taken such offense to Caitlin’s trash talking of other teams if she had been Black. She perceived Caitlin as being disrespectful because she was a White player trash talking Black players. There is no chance Angel would have followed Aliyah Boston around doing the John Cena.
Because Aaliyah Boston would have calmly and politely gathered her up and bodied her.

With kid gloves, of course, but yeah they made her out to be a crass opportunist.
Wasn't a funny bit. At all.
